Mark Dorling

Mark began sailing before he could walk, sailing on yachts with his parents. As a junior member of Northbridge Sailing Club he learned the basics on the famous Northbridge Juniors in the club’s learn to sail program. Mark soon moved on to Lasers and immediately began achieving winning results and started to fill the trophy cabinet at home. He was quickly identified by Yachting NSW as a talented young sailor and was a member of their Youth Development Programs and NSW High Performance Squad as well as NSW Sport and Recreation Talented Athlete Program. Mark has competed in many international regattas both in Australia and overseas with remarkable results. He is an exceptional sailor, tactician and sailing instructor. Mark now is an international match racer and he travels the world competing at the major match racing regattas.
